Journey to Gyantse begins greatly on new mountain road, views are fantactic...and suddenly, the road nowhere. Next four hours our Land Rover is hardly skiping in thirty over stones across country and throught stour I am looking sadly, as behind us tibetian clachans, nomads and my lion are disappearing...

 

I nearly bought tibetian mastiff puppy, or perhaps himalyan dog? Beautiful little lion. I wanted to take him with me to Base Camp, he wanted too. Paws as a bear, he will grow up and will be as a little horse, but lovely. Our secret is he will wait for me for a month...
